On July 28, 2026, Denison announced the completion of site preparation activities and the commencement of full-scale construction at its flagship Phoenix ISR uranium mine. The project secured formal support from the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation earlier in July 2026 following the withdrawal of its judicial review application. First production from the Phoenix mine remains targeted for mid-2028.
