On June 23, 2026, Green Dot Corporation and CommerceOne Financial Corporation announced that their respective shareholders approved the previously announced strategic transaction. Under the deal, Green Dot's non-bank fintech business will be sold to Smith Ventures while Green Dot Bank merges with CommerceOne. The acquisition remains subject to required regulatory approvals.
