On September 10, 2026, reports indicated that China's antitrust regulator is initiating a Phase 2 review of Texas Instruments' proposed $7.5 billion acquisition of Silicon Labs. The transaction, announced in February 2026, is expected to close in the first half of 2027 subject to required regulatory approvals.
