- On August 5, 2026, VersaBank announced that the SEC declared effective its Form S-4 registration statement for a proposed corporate reorganization into a standard U.S. bank holding structure. Under the plan, newly created Versa Bancorp will become the direct holding company of VersaBank and VersaBank USA National Association. Shareholders are scheduled to vote on the reorganization proposal at a special meeting on September 16, 2026.
